Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Movianto team in Gonesse, France.
The main focus of the role will be preparing and ensuring the business readiness for some large scale and critical timelines. You will need to understand and have had practical experience of the planning, communications, training, stakeholder management and support required for such exercises. A level of technical expertise will be required throughout but this is more about business delivery. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and a robust personality are a prerequisite. You will also be extremely organized, self-starter, used to liaising with third party suppliers and well able to drive difficult projects to completion.
This position reports to the Site Manager.
This position requires limited amount of travelling.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar/relevant, technical and/or project management role involving warehouse operations, inventory optimization, logistics, process improvement and teammate development.
  • Four-year undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business Administration / Operations, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, MSP, PMP is essential
  • Must have background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis
  • Proven track record in planning projects and working with project teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Multilingual skills; English required; one additional European language is required
  • Very strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven working experience and track record delivering large scale, complex projects
  • Solid project management background, with understanding or hands-on experience in transport or logistics sector
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Performs additional duties as directed
  • Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures
