A Few Words on History

The first Movianto facility in Belgium was founded in Houdeng-Goegnies in 2008 as an expansion of the CSP (Centre Spécialités Pharmaceutiques) France activities. The second location was originated in Drongen in 2009 from a takeover by the Celesio Group of the logistics warehousing and transport company “Dirk Raes”. After the acquisition, Movianto moved from Drongen to Erembodegem (Aalst). In 2012, Celesio sold the Movianto Group to the American medical products distributor and logistics provider Owens & Minor. Due to expansion, a brand-new facility was constructed in Aalst and opened doors in April 2016. In 2020, Movianto was acquired by EHDH and became part of the Walden Group.

Movianto Belgium Today

Both of our Belgian warehouses are situated in the center of Europe with direct highway connections to all major markets and are less than 4 hours away from some of the biggest ports and airports in Europe. Movianto Belgium acts as a global distribution center, enabling our customers to distribute not only in the region, but around the world. This includes an active controlled network by means of our sister company Eurotranspharma for deliveries to the Benelux. Our stakeholders find us as their trusted partner for warehousing, transportation, value-added services, clinical trials and GMP activities.
