For Movianto/CSP in Belgium and the Netherlands we are looking for Legal Counsel (full time).

Job description:

As a Legal Counsel, you are responsible for providing general legal assistance on regional/national projects and day-to-day issues. You are part of the team: Group Legal Team (your colleague legal counsels are located in different countries in Europe). You act as corporate legal counsel for the Belgian and Dutch Movianto entities and support other teammates in international cases. You are supported by your Legal teammates in your work. You report to the Head of Legal, based in France.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, in-depth, business-oriented legal assistance and advice to business leaders in the assigned region (Belgium and the Netherlands) in all areas of law applicable to the business (such as commercial law, insurance, real estate, corporate law…);
  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing domestic and international commercial contracts and other legal documents (such as distribution agreements, agency agreements, supply agreements, service agreements, LOI, NDA,…);
  • Provide legal assistance, in particular with regard to public procurement and procurement related issues, covering both extrajudicial and judicial issues;
  • Participate in projects and tasks of the legal department and develop group legal guidelines locally;
  • Create, maintain, organize and adequately manage all files related to current affairs;
  • Provide legal information to internal clients in conjunction with key functions to raise awareness and anticipate legal issues;
  • Maintaining the relationship with outside legal advisors as necessary and appropriate, for example in the area of litigation.

Your Profile:

  • Master’s Degree in Law;
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a law firm and/or as a corporate lawyer at a multinational (ideally active in pharmaceutical/logistics activities);
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French (both written and spoken);
  • You are discreet and reliable;
  • You are autonomous, hands-on and operationally;
  • You are dynamic, have an eye for detail, are well-organized, result-oriented & efficient;
  • You have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • You are customer-oriented and creative;
  • You understand the business and can perform under demanding conditions;
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • You are mobile/flexible (occasionally move to other locations in the BeNeLux);
  • You enjoy working in a multicultural environment;
  • Knowledge of (healthcare) logistics is an asset.
