Movianto in France is unveiling the next step in its new strategic transformation plan. After recently creating a customer experience department, Movianto in France is opening its first centre of innovation and excellence on its Moussy-le-Neuf campus near Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport.
The project rollout spanned nearly a year and a half, and significant investments were made to ensure the readiness of this new distribution site.
Besides the increased storage capacity, the new building will enable the creation of a centre of innovation and excellence for pharmaceutical logistics, dedicated to the development of new tools and processes for the most demanding healthcare products, in particular biotechnologies.
Because innovation always comes from teams and collaboration, Movianto France will deploy a new organisational model at this site that will empower its people.
In this new organisation, operational excellence and continuous improvement will be the main focus, with the setting up of relays in each team for training, quality and maintenance. The aim is to grant more autonomy in day-to-day activities and to draw more on the field to develop resources, tools and processes. Ultimately, this will allow us to improve the quality, productivity and interest of the work. It will also mean more time for management to tackle substantive subjects in collaboration with customers.
“Our ambition is clear: to constantly improve the quality of our services and the commitment of our teams to better meet the needs of our customers with solutions that safeguard patient health and create value. This new facility is a major step in our transformation, as it will enable us to accelerate our work on operational excellence while increasing our capacities. I’m extremely proud of the work carried out by our teams in implementing this project, which will have a major impact on us and our customers”, says Nicolas Richer, President of Movianto in France.
Certified BREEAM “Very Good”, this building meets the highest construction standards in terms of environmental impact and energy efficiency. In particular, the site’s cold room will run on CO2, eliminating any highly harmful gases for the environment. This represents one of the most environmentally-friendly technology currently available.
Following the Ecovadis GOLD certification obtained in 2023, this new facility marks a new stage in the improvement of Movianto’s environmental impact.
